About Us
Green Hill Baptist Church is located in the rural foothills of western North Carolina. We serve the community of Green Hill and surrounding communities in Rutherford County.

The purpose of Green Hill Baptist Church is to: Link to Christ, Link to each other, Link to serving, and Link to the lost.

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Baptist Faith and Message" as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. We band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Supper.

I grew up all over NC. I graduated from High School in Brevard, NC. I earned my bachelors degree in secondary science education from Western Carolina University. Afterwards, I attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed my MDiv in pastoral ministry. I met and married my wife Melanie while attending SEBTS. We have 3 kids and one on the way (Luke-6, Lydia-4, Kesed-2). I have joyfully served Green Hill BC as pastor since November 2019.
